BROOM FESTIVAL

Since 1949 the "Feast of the Genet", the celebration of broom, emblematic shrub of the Oesling, counts among the most famous folk manifestations of all the region.
On Whit Monday, a floral corso, with floats decorated with the flower of the broom, Luxembourgish and foreign music companies, battalions of majorettes, folk groups from Luxembourg and abroad as well as international show bands in the streets of the city of Wiltz and attracts thousands of visitors each year.

FESTIVAL OF WILTZ

"The International Theater Festival", created in 1953 with the program of a single play, namely "Jedermann" by Hugo von Hofmannsthal, has developed over the years by presenting in 1954 theater in French, the Opera in 1956 and since 1957 music in its most diverse forms. The Wiltz Festival has become what it is today: an eclectic feast that offers the widest possible audience of concerts and performances of the most varied performing arts in a setting that we can qualify as unique:

NIGHT OF THE LANTERNS

The "Night of the Lanterns" of Wiltz is not only one of the most spectacular events in the Grand Duchy, but has also been in recent years one of the most visited cultural events in the North or even the whole country.
For one evening, the Garden of Wiltz and its surroundings are staged by a multitude of sound and light installations and animated by a series of concerts and shows, enchanting visitors of all ages.
Each year, the images of the party tour the country, whether through the press or social networks, to the point where they are regularly used in advertising campaigns for tourism in Luxembourg.
