CULTURAL TRAIL - VILLE-HAUTE (YELLOW)

The cultural trail (yellow) includes 21 curiosities (panels 1 - 21) located without exception in the upper town. You learn why Wiltz received the honorary title of Cité Martyre. You get acquainted with the sociocultural center Prabbeli and with the Wiltz Garden. You can admire the 300-year-old baroque high altar at the Notre-Dame parish church.
This route is approximately 3 km long, the total length depending on the distance traveled at the Wiltz Garden.
You go to an altitude of 385 m, you reach the highest point (450 m) at the fork to the Prabbeli. A staircase, in front of house 23 of the Bastogne road, allows you to go down to Prabbeli. We recommend visitors with strollers or wheelchairs to wait another 200 m, before committing to rue de la Montagne.

CULTURAL TRAIL - VILLE-BASSE (RED)

The cultural trail (red) includes 25 sights including 12 in the lower town. It is approximately 4.5 km long. It reaches its lowest point (310 m) near the Niederwiltz bridge, its highest point at the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Fatima op Baessent (400 m).
You discover the Rodange-Reenert-Kulturwee, a sculptural ensemble unique in Europe, the variety of decorated keystones of the former choir (1510) of the decanal church, the last windmill in Luxembourg, the geological way of the cross and the shrine of Our Lady of Fatima.
